 Kavu  Seattle based company that claims all products are made in the USA.  Try their product called Tencel which feels like silk but wears like cotton.  The fiber is created by spinning the natural cellulose found in wood pulp taken from trees planted on agriculturally poor land.

 Lands' End!  Look at Lands' End version of polypro underwear called Thermaskins™.   About $30 for a top or $40 for a bottom.  It is a 2-sided moisture management fabric from Malden Mills — the makers of Polartec®.

 Solstice Outdoor Gear   Portland based company that needs no introduction except to say that their breathable Microshed outerwear can be purchased at local stores for a fraction of the cost of Gore-Tex.  On your next ski trip, ask someone wearing the Microshed outerwear how they like their Solstice gear.

 Wickers  They make high perfornamce underwear make from a material they call Akwatek.  Claims that it will keep you dry and comfortable under any conditions.
