Off-season
day tours coordinator and recruiter needed
Give some time back to your club by volunteering to put
the day tours schedule together in the off-season or help with recruiting day tour
leaders. These are great positions to get to know active members of the club.
The off-season day tours coordinator sends out e-mails the
1st and the 10th of the month. Then puts the descriptions together and submits
them to the newsletter editor by the 15th of the month. They also post the
tours on the sign up calendar. The day tours recruiter helps to arrange the
schedule so that we have tours each weekend by making a few calls from our day
tours leader list between the 1st and the 10th of the month. For more info
contact: onc_newsletter (at) onc
(dot) org.
Lets hike or bike
Join the ONC leadership team...
This is your chance to pick your favorite trail (and date)
and take some ONC friends to enjoy the outdoors. Grab your hiking boots or pump
up your tires and get on the bike. Commit one day this season to give back to
your club. Lead a tour in July (contact me asap and we’ll post it on the Web and send out a
club-wide e-mail), August or the first weekend in September.
Send day tour descriptions for August and September (by
Sept 14, 8 p.m.) to: oncdaytours (at) gmail (dot) com
For more information, waiver forms, etc about leading a
day tour check the Web site: http://www.onc.org/triplead.htm
Thanks for leading a tour.
Note: the tour handbook on the Web site is out-of-dated
the new one is not posted yet.
