Outing Report: Bennett Ridge Trail, 27th Dec 2010
Perfect snow on the Bennett Ridge Trail yesterday. However, we did not get very far. As we approached Wind Gap, where there is an open slope down to the right, the snow had drifted into deep (2 to 3 feet) corrugations across the trail, making progress extremely slow. My partner didn't want to continue; I waded on another 50 feet or so, but it was not much fun and very sow progress.
